Italiano in cucina:
The number of lessons depends on the type of course. For the culinary students we offer 5 lessons a week, for 4 hours per lesson. A total of 20 hours per week. The lesson is divided into two parts: during the first couple of hours the lesson is based on “Spoken Italian”, where students can learn the everyday Italian language; the last second half of the lesson is based on Italian for cooking, which gives the students the opportunity to enter in the Italian world of cooking. They will be thought how to read and write Italian recipes and the essential wording to be able to find a job in an Italian restaurant/hotel. Usually the group of culinary students is composed of a minimum of 4 people to a maximum of 12 people.
Travel to learn:
for tourists are most of the time composed by 6 students, although the class can host a maximum number of 12 students. This course is divided according to their level of Italian and number of weeks. The courses usually last from a minimum of one week to four week. The course is usually four hours per day or two hours a day when there are less then 3 students in a class. A total of 5 classes a week, start every Monday and finish on Friday.
Various authentic materials created by the teacher for all the particular types of training are used during the courses: radio, computer, newspaper culinary magazine and articles, movies, tv shows, texts, songs, etc.

- Who is my teacher:
A fully qualified Italian mother tongue teacher with extensive teaching experience. Our teacher of Italian as foreign language has studied foreign languages at University Federico II in Naples and has been trained to teach Italian as a second/foreign language.
- Will I have time to explore the area, when I enrol in your course?
Our Courses start in the morning from 9.30 to 1.30.p.m . But it is also possible to attend our courses in the afternoon from 15.00 to 19.00. The private classes often starts in the morning from 9.00a.m to 11.00a.m but it also possible to take lessons in the afternoon after the trips organized by the school.
- Where is the class?
Italian courses are held at our cooking school in a 'very spacious and comfortable classroom with blackboard, desk and chairs.
- Can I take private and intensive course?
It is also possible to make an individual course. The program does not vary but the number of hours is 40 with a lesson a day for 4 weeks. The private courses are most of the time individual or composed of 2 people.
- How long should I study to start talking Italian?
In our school the teacher uses real-life images, written text such as newspapers and magazine and audio cassette with voices of native speakers to teach you like a native learner. It is a method of full immersion, the student will achieve everyday a real knowledge in all key language skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.
- Can I get a certificate?
The course is not nationally recognised, as is only meant to be for those who are interested in learning. The course is the best occasion to learn all the things of a unique cuisine in our wonderful and fabulous language that can be useful for students in your future life.
