For those who want to spend their nights in a lively and warm atmosphere, the coast offers lots of bars, pubs, and nightclubs. Often during the summer, open-air parties are organized on beaches and in private parks, and are advertised in flyers distributed on the streets during the day.
Most of the restaurants are located in the main square Piazza Tasso and offer a delicious Mediterranean cooking and appetizing dishes created by licensed chefs who use the basic ingredients of the Mediterranean cuisine. Sorrento also offers a wide choice of night clubs and discos where you can spend a lovely night with some good music and people from all over the world. Famous discos like the Fauno Notte Club or the Filou located just in the heart of the city are always crowded with people who go there to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere.
