| During the winter months of November, December, January and February Mami Camilla offers a special Winter All-inclusive Package for those, who are interested in spending a relaxing and interesting winter weekend. (Also available throughout the week) This Package is a special chance for everyone who is interested in more, than just summer, sun and beach- holiday. It is a chance to experience Italy from a site which is still barely known: Italian wintertime - with its food, pastries, music and tradition. We invite you to spend a weekend far away from hectic and stress, to enjoy the silence and peace which covers the country at the end of the year. Therefore, we compiled an all inclusive Package for the price of 160 Euro per person in case of double occupancy or 260 Euro single occupancy. (Fresh Fruit Tart) Active Work Time 45 minutes; Total Prep Time 1 hour 15 minutes Serves 6 to 8 SHORT PASTRY 500 grams all-purpose flour 25 grams sugar 25 grams butter 3 eggs 1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C. 2. On flat work surface, form well with flour. 3. Add sugar, butter and eggs to center. Mix with hands, gradually taking small portion of flour into the center until all ingredients are well blended, pastry is formed and even consistency. 4. Wrap pastry in plastic wrap; refrigerate 20 minutes. 5. Remove pastry from refrigerator. Working on floured surface, roll pastry into circle about 1-centimeter thick. Arrange dough in greased baking dish; pierce with fork; neaten edges with knife. Cover edges with foil to prevent burning. 6. Bake on cooking sheet 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool 10 minutes. 7. When cool, transfer shell to serving plate. CUSTARD 400 milliliters milk 200 grams sugar 100 grams flour 2 egg yolks Zest of 1 lemon 1. In saucepan, combine milk and lemon zest. Bring to boil over medium heat. 2. Meanwhile, in another saucepan, combine sugar, flour and egg yolks. Whisk until blended. 3. When milk has boiled, removed lemon skins with strainer. 4. Gradually add milk to sugar mixture, whisking continuously to blend. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until mixture thickens. 5. Remove from heat; pour into bowl to cool. ASSEMBLY Pastry shell Custard Seasonal fresh fruit, sliced 30 grams gelatin 1. Pour custard evenly into pastry shell. 2. Garnish with fruit. 3. In saucepan, melt gelatin over low heat. 4. Brush gelatin over fruit. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving. |
